Brüel & Kjær Hand-held Analyzer Type 2250/2270

This website is hosted on a Type 2250/2270 Hand-held analyzer and can be accessed when the analyzer is connected to the Internet or a Local Area Network.

The website consists of two types of web pages: one type for view access only and another type for view and control. Both types are password protected.

How to access the instrument

You access the instrument using one of the two links (buttons) on the home page:

1. "View Instrument" is an on-line display for monitoring the screen of the instrument.
2. "View and Control Instrument" is an on-line display and keyboard for monitoring the screen of the instrument and for controlling the instrument.

To access the "View Instrument" you need to enter a guest user name and guest password.

To access the "View and Control Instrument" you need to enter an admin user name and an admin password. This will also give you access to the "View Instrument" page.

The user names and passwords must be setup in advance in the Preferences of the instrument.

When successfully authorized you get access to the instrument. The tab of the browser is updated with Location (to be set in Preferences), serial number and type of instrument.

Controlling the instrument

On the "View and Control Instrument" page you control the instrument by clicking on the buttons on the keyboard and by clicking on the screen of the analyzer in the on-line display. If you use drag and drop on the screen, then please note that some browsers require an extra click to end the dragging.
